All hypnotherapy is actually self hypnosis, with trust  and rapport between therapist and client being key to  exceptional results.     Hypnotherapy can be enhanced using NLP and EFT.

Hypnotherapy is a wonderful deep relaxation experience, a great Stress Management intervention.   A course of approximately six sessions, can help to re-set overly stressed adrenals to a state of calm. 

Old habits are directed by our automatic responses of the unconscious mind.  When tired we find ourselves going down similar old patterns.    Changing eating and exercising habits are a good example of needing to create stronger new patterns to make change easier and more likely to succeed. 

Hypnotherapy is invaluable for clearing past fears, helping with confidence and self esteem.

Our conscious mind houses our self will.  It can be likened to the tip of an iceberg with the unconscious mind (the automatic part that regulates our breathing, heart pumping, ability to walk, drive…etc) being a vast web of neural pathways underneath the surface.  It contains our values, beliefs and behaviours created in childhood.   It is an incredible reservoir of unrealised knowledge, strength and potential.

Using the art of hypnosis, it is possible to release unwanted patterns of behaviour or thinking.

Experienced hypnotherapists, where appropriate, will use the technique Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).    This was developed in the 1970′s by John Grinder and Richard Bandler which stems from much of Erickson’s work.   In therapy, NLP techniques can help to replace negative associations and feelings with more positive ones. It is used for performance enhancement, reducing fears, modelling successful individuals by creating empowering anchors and associations.

NLP can be used on its own or more effectively with hypnosis for personal development, overcoming performance fears, confidence, self esteem, increased learning, memory and stress management.
